Light blocking transparent display device
A light emitting transparent display device 100 which utilises a flexible light blocker or blind 300 and a roller 200 arranged behind a light emitting transparent display panel 100. A flexible light blocker 300 can be extended and retracted making the display either transparent FIG. 1 or totally opaque FIG. 2. The flexible light blocker extends and retracts through rotation of a roller 200 housed in housings 400 and mounted on a stable back panel 800, whereby the rotation via a motor 700 turns the flexible light blocker 300 and creates with extension or retraction either opaque and transparent states, useful for allowing substantial amounts of ambient light 500 and background detail such as a person 600 to pass through the display in a retracted state and blocking all ambient light 500 and distractions from passing through when in an extended state.
