A smoke barrier apparatus is provided. The smoke barrier apparatus comprises a curtain movable between a retracted position and a deployed position in which passage of smoke therepast is inhibited, the curtain being attached to a roller that is rotatable to move the curtain between the retracted position and the deployed position, the roller being located within a container; and at least one container sealing means for forming a seal with a surface of the container thereby inhibiting the passage of smoke therepast.
La présente invention concerne un appareil de barrière à la fumée. L'appareil de barrière à la fumée comprend un rideau mobile entre une position rétractée et une position déployée dans laquelle le passage de fumée est empêché, le rideau étant fixé à un rouleau qui peut tourner pour déplacer le rideau entre la position rétractée et la position déployée, le rouleau étant situé à l'intérieur d'un récipient ; et au moins un moyen d'étanchéité de récipient pour former un joint d'étanchéité avec une surface du récipient, empêchant ainsi le passage de fumée à travers celui-ci.
