An asphalt concrete construction method of for soft soil matrix pavement belongs to the technical field of road construction. The construction method comprises the steps of processing of a soft soil matrix, preparation of semi-rigid base materials, construction of a semi-rigid base, preparation of the asphalt concrete, construction of asphalt concrete pavement and the like. Pavers perform compaction and paving is carried out at left and right sides for three layers in construction. Transverse joints and longitudinal joints are processed well, thus the asphalt concrete pavement is obtained and the pavement is used after passing a formation qualification inspection. By adopting the construction method, the qualified rate of the soft soil matrix asphalt concrete pavement is increased to be higher than 95% from the current 86%. Besides, the surface of the asphalt pavement is smooth and compact, and is free from diffusion of oil, loosing, cracks, obvious separation and the like, the pavement is prevented from gapping, and the service life and safety performance of the pavement are improved.
