The construction method comprises the following steps that (1) sundries ona paved road section are cleaned up, and the asphalt concrete is uniformly paved on the road surface according to the road width and the paving thickness; (2) a road roller is used for carrying out initial pressing, re-pressing and final pressing on the road surface, the flatness and the road arch are checked, the aggregate segregation phenomenon is avoided, and rolling wheel marks are eliminated;and 3), the asphalt concrete is maintained after the asphalt concrete is rolled; wherein the asphalt concrete in the step (1) is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 4-8 partsof cetyl trimethyl ammonium hydroxide; 3-9 parts of triterpenoid saponin; 250-350 parts of asphalt; 1000-1500 parts of a coarse aggregate; and 50-100 parts of a fine aggregate. The rut resistance of the asphalt concrete is improved. According to the asphalt concrete pavement construction method, the asphalt concrete pavement can be compact and flat.
