The invention relates to the technical field of asphalt concrete road construction, and particularly discloses an asphalt concrete pavement construction method. The asphalt concrete pavement construction method comprises the following steps: 1) paving a bottom layer mixture in a to-be-constructed area to form a bottom layer; 2) paving a base layer mixture to form a base layer; 3) paving a binding layer mixture to form a binding layer, wherein the binding layer mixture is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 1350 to 1400 parts of gravel, 220 to 250 parts of sand, 80 to 100 parts of filler, 92 to 105 parts of asphalt and 10 to 12 parts of auxiliaries; and 4), paving a wear-resistant layer mixture to form a wear-resistant layer, wherein the wear-resistant layer mixture is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 1400-1450 parts of gravel, 200-220 parts of sand, 100-110 parts of filler, 105-110 parts of asphalt and 10-12 parts of assistant. The asphalt concrete pavement construction method improves the wear resistance of the pavement.
