The invention provides a building exterior wall inorganic insulation board surface mortar and its preparation method and construction technology. The surface motor comprises cement, quartz sand, calcite powder, redispersible latex powder, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, mekralon, wood fibre, a rubber powder optimizing agent and a mortar optimizer. The preparation method comprises the following steps successively: mixing water and the above ingredients in proportion, stirring for 3-5 min until the mixture is uniform; standing for about 3 min, and stirring for use. During construction, a polystyrene board is firstly checked out to make it to be firmly bonded; then, the prepared surface mortar is smeared onto the polystyrene board; and gridding cloth is pressed into the mortar, and a second layer of surface motor is smeared and pressed onto the surface of the gridding cloth. The surface motor provided by the invention is used as a protective layer for the outer layer of a wall insulation board, the building surface and the surface of a substrate material, and meets operating requirements. The surface motor prepared by the above method has good tensile strength and retractility. With the cooperation of the construction technology, the whole performance of a wall maintenance and insulation system is guaranteed.
