The invention discloses an initial rainwater filter. The initial rainwater filter comprises a support bottom plate and a cover plate, wherein an outer filter screen and an inner filter screen are coaxially fixed on the support bottom plate; the cover plate covers tops of the outer filter screen and the inner filter screen; filter media are arranged between the outer filter screen and the inner filter screen; a drainage cavity is defined by the inner side of the inner filter screen; the bottom of the drainage cavity is connected with a drain pipe; a floating flow limit device is arranged at an inlet of the drain pipe. The filter adopts the outer filter screen, the filtering media and the inner filter screen to perform triple filtering on rainwater and adopts the floating flow limit device to guarantee sufficient contact of rainwater and the filtering media, and pollutants are effectively removed; when the filtering media are blocked by the pollutants, the floating flow limit device can increase flow of rainwater passing through the filter; when the filter does not work, the pollutants intercepted by the filtering media are washed out of the filter through washing, and the infiltration capacity of the filtering media is improved.
