A sanitary apparatus and a construction method are provided with which it is possible to support the sanitary apparatus from the floor in a floating state without creating dead space on the back sideof a wall panel of a room unit, and with which it is possible to adjust the position after installing the wall panel. A toilet device (sanitary apparatus) 100 comprises: a mount securing part 60 secured to a floor slab 10; a mount stand 70 that extends upward from the mount securing part 60 on the room interior side of a bathroom panel 91; and a wall-hanging toilet (sanitary device) 7 supported above the floor part 20 by the mount stand 70.
