The environment-friendly masonry mortar provided by the invention comprises the following components in parts by weight: 0-20 parts of ordinary Portland cement; 8-20 parts of high-calcium desulfurization ash; 8-20 parts of mineral powder; 5-15 parts of steel slag powder; 20-65 parts of fine aggregate; 0-8parts of an alkaline activator; 1-5 parts of a water reducing agent; and 1-3 parts of a water retention thickening agent. The method has the beneficial effects that the high-calcium desulfurized flyash is used for alkali activation, so that the mixing amount of an alkali activator is reduced, and the energy is saved; furthermore, the defects of high cement consumption, high energy consumption, serious additional pollution and the like of the conventional mortar are overcome, and industrial wastes are utilized to the maximum extent. According to the invention, the problems of low strength, poor water resistance, air shrinkage cracking and the like of the existing environment-friendly mortar can be improved; all the raw materials are provided in the form of dry powder, are mainly from industrial wastes, and have the advantages of wide sources, low cost, energy saving and environmental protection.
