The bridge detection robot comprises a rail, a walking mechanism, a connecting arm and a detection device, wherein the rail is used for being arranged on a side web of a bridge; the walking mechanism is arranged on the rail and can slide relative to the rail; the connecting arm is connected with the walking mechanism; and the detection device is arranged on the connecting arm and is used for detecting a flange plate, the web plate and a bottom plate of the bridge. The problems that a manned beam bottom inspection vehicle in the prior art is difficult to use when a beam bottom space is narrow and a height-limited highway line and a height-limited railway line exist below a beam bottom can be solved.
