The invention relates to an asphalt concrete pavement construction method, and the method comprises the following construction steps: S100, defining a roadbed construction range, excavating and compacting a roadbed, and uniformly paving gravels on the surface layer of the roadbed to form a lower bearing layer for later use; S200, preparing a densely-matched asphalt mixture on site, uniformly paving the asphalt mixture on the surface layer of the roadbed, and compacting the asphalt mixture for several times; S300, performing the joint cutting on the constructed half roadbed in batches, whereinthe joint cutting width needs to be greater than 200 mm, and the joint cutting width must be perpendicular to the bottom; S400, covering the surface layer of the roadbed with non-woven geotextile to preserve moisture and maintain health, and performing traffic control; S500, after curing is finished, performing coring on the surface layer of the roadbed at certain intervals, performing a strengthtest on a coring sample, and checking and accepting the coring sample used for traffic after the general standard is met. The invention has the effects that the forming time of the asphalt concrete pavement is shortened, and normal traffic of the road is effectively guaranteed.
