The asphalt concrete pavement construction method comprisesthe following steps: (1), cleaning a roadbed; (2), laying a cushion layer; (3), laying a middle layer; (4), paving an asphalt mixture to form a pavement layer; and (5), rolling the pavement layer to obtain the asphalt concrete pavement. The asphalt mixture comprises the following components, by mass: 15-20 parts of asphalt, 70-90 parts of coarse aggregate, 10-15 parts of fine aggregate, 3-10 partsof polymer fibers, 1-2 parts of a silane coupling agent, and 1-1.5 parts of polycaprolactam powder. The method has the advantage that the anti-rutting performance of the asphalt concrete pavement obtained through construction is higher.
