The invention discloses a method for improving the high-temperature heat insulation performance of a nano porous heat insulation material. The method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing an aerogel composite material wet gel system; (2) preparing impregnation sol; (3) dipping aerogel composite material wet gel in the sol; the specific method of the sol-impregnated aerogel composite material wet gel comprises the following steps: putting aerogel composite material wet gel into an impregnation tank, pouring the prepared impregnation sol into the impregnation tank, completely immersing the wet gel, and after the aerogel composite material is fully impregnated by the impregnation sol and is gelled, carrying out solvent replacement on the aerogel composite material subjected to impregnation treatment; and (4) carrying out supercritical drying treatment on the composite part treated in the step (3).
