The invention relates to a delayed coagulation type geopolymer material which is prepared by taking slag and fly ash as base materials and sand as a filler and adding an alkali activator, a retarder and an alkali efflorescence inhibitor, the mass mixing ratio of the slag to the fly ash is (0.66-1.5): 1, the mass mixing ratio of the base material to the filler is 1: 3, and the modulus of the alkali activator is 1.0-1.8; the 7d compressive strength of the geopolymer material is 30.3 to 112.6 MPa, the breaking strength of the geopolymer material is 3.4 to 21.8 MPa, the initial setting time of the geopolymer material is 90 to 140 minutes, and the final setting time of the geopolymer material is 170 to 262 minutes. The base material, the filler, the alkali activator, the retarder and other raw materials are mixed according to a proper proportion, the cement prepared from the geopolymer material has high compressive strength and flexural strength, and the setting time is suitable for industrial use.
