The invention provides a damping module unit and a data center. The damping module unit comprises a frame and an anti-seismic structure, the frame comprises a top-layer frame body, a bottom-layer frame body and stand columns supported between the top-layer frame body and the bottom-layer frame body, and the top-layer frame body, the bottom-layer frame body and the stand columns are matched to form four side portions, connected in sequence, of the frame. The four side parts are positioned between the top-layer frame body and the bottom-layer frame body; the anti-seismic structure is arranged on the at least one side portion and connected between the top layer frame body and the bottom layer frame body, the yield strength of the anti-seismic structure is smaller than that of the frame, or the damping of the anti-seismic structure is larger than that of the frame. According to the technical scheme, the anti-seismic performance of the prefabricated modular data center can be improved on the basis of ensuring that the preset modular data center has good working performance.
