In order to solve the problems of high construction site requirement, long construction period and high construction cost due to the fact that a large tower crane is adopted for dismantling, the communication tower comprises a lengthening rod, a sliding assembly and a driving assembly, the lengthening rod can be connected with a dismantling base, the driving assembly is installed on a tower body of the communication tower, and the sliding assembly is connected with the lengthening rod and is driven by the driving assembly to slide. Therefore, the extension bar is driven to move along the height direction. The method has the effects that the construction safety is improved, the construction period is shortened, and the leasing fee of the tower crane is saved.
