The invention discloses a glue spreading device and a brick paving robot, the glue spreading device is used for spreading glue to the back of a to-be-paved brick, the back of the to-be-paved brick faces downwards, the glue spreading device comprises a rack, the rack is provided with a glue spreading space, the rack is used for supporting the to-be-paved brick, and the glue spreading space is located below the to-be-paved brick; the glue distribution mechanism is arranged in the glue distribution space, and the glue distribution mechanism can flow out glue upwards so that the glue can be coated on the back face of the to-be-paved brick material; and the driving mechanism is in transmission connection with the glue distribution mechanism and used for driving the glue distribution mechanism to move in the glue distribution space in the first direction, so that glue distribution of the glue distribution mechanism on the back face of the to-be-paved brick material is achieved. According to the invention, the glue spreading device is used for spreading glue to the to-be-paved brick material with the downward back surface, so that the paving efficiency of the mechanical arm on the brick material in the later period is improved.
