The invention relates to the field of composite ceramics, and discloses a high-performance microcrystalline alumina composite ceramic production process, which comprises the following steps: selecting high-purity alumina powder and composite material powder, and mixing; carrying out ball milling treatment on the mixed powder to obtain uniform particle distribution and fine particle size, and carrying out drying treatment; mixing the dried powder with an organic binder and a solvent to prepare slurry, and injecting the slurry into a mold to obtain a required shape; demolding the molded ceramic body, and carrying out primary sintering; grinding and finishing the primarily sintered ceramic green body to remove roughness and impurities on the surface so as to obtain a flat surface; carrying out secondary sintering on the ground and trimmed ceramic green body; carrying out coating treatment on the surface of the ceramic subjected to secondary sintering; the produced ceramic is subjected to performance detection, and qualified products are packaged and stored.
