The invention provides a counterweight-free special-shaped hanging basket which comprises a support arm, a cantilever arm and a fixing piece connected with a building structure, one end of the cantilever arm is connected with a suspension platform through a steel wire rope, the other end of the cantilever arm is fixedly connected with the support arm, and the support arm is connected with the fixing piece. The counterweight-free special-shaped hanging basket further comprises an inclined support, one end of the inclined support is fixedly connected with the supporting arm, and the other end of the inclined support is fixedly connected with the cantilever arm. The supporting arm, the cantilever arm and the inclined support respectively comprise a plurality of standard pipe fittings, bolt installation plates are arranged at the two ends of each standard pipe fitting, and the standard pipe fittings are sequentially and fixedly connected through bolts. The invention further provides an installation method of the counterweight-free special-shaped hanging basket. The invention provides a counterweight-free special-shaped hanging basket which solves the problem that the hanging basket has no installation space when the floor condition is complex.
