The invention relates to the technical field of building decoration, and provides a composite wallboard and a production method thereof. The composite wallboard is sequentially provided with an upper balance layer and a lower balance layer from top to bottom, wherein the upper balance layer comprises a thermosetting resin decorative laminated board and impregnated bond paper or a veneer; a substrate layer; the lower balance layer comprises a thermosetting resin decorative laminated board, impregnated bond paper or a veneer; the heating layer comprises a wavy heating plate; and a heat-insulating and sound-insulating layer. According to the technical scheme, the thermal efficiency of the heating wallboard can be improved.
