The invention provides a cleaning assembly, a mobile cleaning robot and a control method of the mobile cleaning robot. The cleaning assembly comprises a mounting plate, cleaning cloth, a water supply assembly, a scraper assembly and a sewage recovery assembly. The cleaning cloth wraps the mounting plate, the water supply assembly is connected with the mounting plate, and a water outlet of the water supply assembly is formed in the cleaning cloth to wet the cleaning cloth. The scraper assembly is arranged on one side edge of the mounting plate, a sewage recovery cavity is formed in the scraper assembly, an opening of the sewage recovery cavity faces the cleaning surface, the inclination angle of the scraper assembly relative to the second side edge is adjustable, and the cleaning cloth is located on the front side of the scraper assembly in the advancing direction of the mounting plate. The sewage recovery assembly is connected with the mounting plate, and a water suction port of the sewage recovery assembly is communicated with the sewage recovery cavity. According to the cleaning assembly provided by the invention, sewage generated by the cleaning assembly can be recycled while the cleaning assembly cleans the cleaning surface.
