The invention discloses a sagger for sintering a high-nickel NCM811-series ternary positive electrode material and a preparation method of the sagger. The preparation method comprises the following specific steps: S1, mixing the fused zirconium spinel particles, the fused zirconium spinel fine powder, the rare earth composite yttrium zirconium ceramic powder and the zirconium boride fine powder to obtain a premix; s2, sequentially adding lime milk and zirconium oxide sol into the premix to obtain a mixture; s3, the mixture is subjected to pouring vibration molding, curing and demolding, and a green body is obtained; and S4, performing drying heat treatment on the green body, and cooling the green body to room temperature to obtain the sagger for sintering the high-nickel NCM811-series ternary positive electrode material. The process is simple, the sintering temperature is low, other impurity components are not introduced, and the prepared sagger for sintering the high-nickel NCM811-series ternary positive electrode material is good in sintering performance, high in strength, high in thermal shock stability and high in erosion permeability resistance of lithium and nickel components.
