The preparation method comprises the following specific steps: S1, adding a mixed solution into a mixture, and stirring to obtain a green body material; s2, the green body material is subjected to pouring vibration molding, curing, demolding and re-drying, and a green sagger is obtained; s3, performing heat treatment on the green body sagger, and cooling to room temperature to obtain the sagger for sintering the medium-low nickel ternary positive electrode material; wherein the mixture comprises magnesium aluminate spinel particles, aluminum nickel spinel fine powder, petalite fine powder, magnesium aluminate spinel fine powder and calcium dialuminate fine powder; the mixed solution is obtained by mixing potassium fluozirconate, aluminum fluoride and water. The method is simple in process and low in sintering temperature, and the prepared sagger for sintering the medium-low nickel ternary positive electrode material is good in sintering performance, high in strength, high in thermal shock stability and high in erosion permeability resistance.
