Silicon carbide porous ceramic and preparation method thereof
The invention provides silicon carbide porous ceramic as well as a preparation method and application thereof, and belongs to the technical field of inorganic nonmetallic materials. The preparation method comprises the following steps: carrying out grading design on beta-SiC powder with different particle sizes, adding a certain amount of silicon powder, a dispersant, a binder and an ethanol aqueous solution, mixing to prepare a raw material, drying the raw material, tabletting, discharging glue, and sintering to obtain the silicon carbide porous ceramic finished product. The composite material has excellent mechanical properties (the bending strength is greater than 57.6 MPa), high porosity (the porosity is greater than 45%), controllable pore diameter (the average pore diameter is 3-6 microns) and uniform pore diameter distribution, and the quality of the composite material is effectively ensured. According to the preparation method provided by the invention, the sintering temperature is reduced, the aperture of the silicon carbide porous ceramic is controllable, the sintering temperature of the silicon carbide porous ceramic is reduced, and the cost of the silicon carbide porous ceramic is finally reduced.
本发明提供了一种碳化硅多孔陶瓷及其制备方法和应用,属于无机非金属材料技术领域。采用粒径不同的粗细β‑SiC粉体进行级配设计并加入一定量的硅粉、分散剂、粘结剂和乙醇水溶液,混合制成生料,然后将生料烘干、压片、排胶、烧结得到碳化硅多孔陶瓷成品。其不仅具有优良的力学性能(抗弯曲强度>57.6MPa),孔隙率高(孔隙率>45%),孔径可控(平均孔径在3~6μm),且孔径分布均匀,有效地保证了其品质与质量。本发明提供的制备方法降低了烧结温度,实现了碳化硅多孔陶瓷的孔径可控,降低了碳化硅多孔陶瓷的烧成温度,最终降低了碳化硅多孔陶瓷的成本。
