A wallboard carrying robot relates to the field of machinery and comprises a bottom frame, a walking structure is mounted in the bottom frame, a sliding mechanism is arranged on the bottom frame, a sliding frame is mounted on the sliding mechanism, a jacking mechanism is arranged on the sliding frame, a moving frame is in sliding fit with the sliding frame, the jacking mechanism can drive the moving frame to move vertically, and the jacking mechanism can drive the moving frame to move vertically. A rotating disc is rotationally connected to the moving frame, a rotating mechanism is installed on the rotating disc, and the rotating mechanism is connected with a clamping mechanism. Through reasonable design of the whole and all mechanical structures, the efficient, stable and flexible wallboard carrying function is achieved. The walking structure enables the robot to move in all directions to adapt to complex environments; the sliding mechanism is matched with the jacking mechanism, so that the position of the clamping mechanism can be accurately adjusted; the flexibility of the clamping angle is improved by the turntable and the rotating mechanism; and the clamping mechanism can firmly clamp the wallboard and prevent the wallboard from sliding off and being damaged.
