The invention discloses adhesive mortar and a preparation method thereof. The adhesive mortar comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 50-70 parts of sulphoaluminate cement, 10-30 parts of fly ash, 5-15 parts of copper tailings, 3-10 parts of polypropylene fibers and 8-15 parts of an auxiliary agent, wherein the auxiliary agent comprises 10%-30% of an expanding agent, 20%-30% of nano filler and 50%-60% of polymer powder; the invention relates to the technical field of building materials. According to the adhesive mortar and the preparation method thereof, the polypropylene fibers are doped into the mortar, so that the breaking strength of the mortar can be obviously improved, and meanwhile, the compressive strength of the mortar can also be improved; according to the present invention, the nano-filler is doped, the nano-fibers and the nano-sheets have the fiber reinforcement effect, and the nano-fibers and the nano-sheets have the high tensile strength so as to improve the mechanical property of the mortar, and the nano-filler can effectively fill the gaps between the cement particles, improve the compactness of the cement matrix, optimize the pore size distribution, and improve the strength of the cement matrix; therefore, the mechanical property of the mortar is enhanced.
