The invention provides a ground leveling robot and a working method thereof. The ground leveling robot comprises a power part, a walking part, a leveling operation part, a communication part, a camera shooting part and a warning part. The power part is used for providing operation driving force for the walking part; the walking part is used for generating a leveling operation strategy according to the first information received by the communication part and the second information extracted by the camera part, and carrying out moving operation in a concrete pouring area according to the leveling operation strategy; the leveling operation part is used for switching to an operation starting state according to the leveling operation strategy; the warning part is used for outputting warning information in the leveling operation process. The ground leveling robot can automatically conduct rapid and safe concrete leveling on the target leveling area, and is particularly suitable for a large-scale concrete pouring scene.
