JOINING METHOD FOR STEEL-PIPE COLUMN
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fasten a downside steel-pipe column, which is inserted into a pit in the ground, and a steel-pipe column on the upside of the downside steel-pipe column so as to screw them with sufficient bonding strength.SOLUTION: In a joining method for a steel-pipe column 1, the downside steel-pipe column 1 inserted into a pit 7 in the ground and the upside steel-pipe column 1 are joined together by being screwed together. In a state in which a key 6 provided in the downside steel-pipe column 1 is engaged with a key groove 24B provided in a holding device 20 for holding the downside steel-pipe column 1 so as to prevent rotation of the downside steel-pipe column 1, the upside steel-pipe column 1 is rotated by a fastening device 30 so that a male screw part 5 of the upside steel-pipe column 1 and a female screw part 4 of the downside steel-pipe column 1 can be fastened.
