TEMPORARY STRUCTURE DURING BASE-ISOLATION WORK FOR EXISTING BUILDING
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary structure during a base-isolation work for an existing building, capable of reducing installation of post-installed anchors for joining the temporary structure to existing beams, by rationally dispersing a vertical pull-out force generated through a brace for bearing a horizontal external force.SOLUTION: A temporary structure during base-isolation work for an existing building, which supports a horizontal external force acting on a column-beam frame 1 while supporting a vertical column axial force, includes: a rectangular temporary brace frame 7 arranged and fixed to a pair of upper and lower existing beams 4a, 4b while leaving gaps from existing columns 3, for supporting the horizontal external force acting on the column-beam frame; temporary support posts 5 vertically arranged between the temporary brace frame and the existing columns, for supporting the vertical column axial force; and extending parts 14a, 14b provided on the temporary brace frame while being extended between the upper and lower both end parts 5a, 5b of the temporary support posts and the existing beams, for transmitting a vertical pull-out force generated by the horizontal external force in the temporary brace frame to allow the force to be supported by the temporary support posts.
