BASE ISOLATION METHOD FOR EXISTING BUILDING
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation method for an existing building allowing construction of a base isolated building that prevents reduction of the floor area due to a base isolation pit and allows the site to be used effectively, without crossing a site boundary.SOLUTION: A base isolation method for an existing building comprises the steps for: separating the existing building into an upper structural body 2 and a lower structural body 3; casting additional concrete on an outer column 30 erected along an external wall of the lower structural body 3; inserting a seismic isolator 4 between the external column 30 of the lower structural body 3 and an external column 20 of the upper structural body 2; and moving only the upper structural body 2. The external column 30 of the lower structural body 3 and the external column 20 of the upper structural body 2 are separated at a location above a ground surface GL.
【課題】免震ピットによる床面積の減少を防ぎ、用地を有効に活用するとともに敷地境界を侵すことのない免震建物を構築することを可能とした既存建物の免震化方法を提案する。【解決手段】既存建物を、上部構造体2と下部構造体3とに分離する工程と、下部構造体3の外壁に沿って立設された外柱30にコンクリートを増し打ちする工程と、下部構造体3の外柱30と上部構造体2の外柱20との間に免震装置4を介設する工程と、上部構造体2のみを移動する工程とを備える既存建物の免震化方法であって、下部構造体3の外柱30と上部構造体2の外柱20とを、地盤面GLよりも高い位置において分離する。【選択図】図1
