PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily determine a cut position for an object to be laid, when adjacent objects to be laid are laid out diagonally.SOLUTION: A cut position determining tool 1 comprises a first gauge 10 having a first ruler part 11 with a first supporting point S1 and a second ruler part 12 connected with the first ruler part 11 and having a first straight-line part 120 orthogonal to a first reference line RL1 passing through the first supporting point S1, and a second gauge 20 having a third ruler part 21 with a second supporting point S2 and a fourth ruler part 22 connected with the third ruler part 21 and having a second straight-line part 220 orthogonal to a second reference line RL2 passing through the second supporting point S2. A distance D1 from the first supporting point S1 to the first straight-line part 120 along the first reference line RL1 equals a distance D2 from the second supporting point S2 to the second straight-line part 220 along the second reference line RL2. The first gauge 10 and the second gauge 20 are overlapped rotatably around the first supporting point S1 and the second supporting point S2 as a common center, such that the first straight-line part 120 intersects with the second straight-line part 220.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
