PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal member installation metal fitting for a guard fence that facilitates fitting of the horizontal member on a support post and offers excellent appearance.SOLUTION: A horizontal member installation metal fitting for a guard fence includes a pair of horizontal member installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b fitted on a support post 2 by sandwiching the support post 2. The horizontal member installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b have both sides formed in a half cylindrical shape that suits an outer diameter of a horizontal member 3. A protrusion 5 is formed on an inner surface at a central part of the horizontal member installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b, the protrusion being engaged with an opening 4 formed on the support post 2. A bolt hole 8 is formed at a side part on both edges of the horizontal member installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b, the bolt hole having a horizontal member installation bolt 7 inserted thereinto. A temporary placement part 9 for the horizontal member 3 is formed at a lower part on both edges of the horizontal member installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b. A notch 11 is formed at an upper corner part on both edges of the horizontal member installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b, the notch 11 having an end of the horizontal member 3 inserted thereinto.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
