HORIZONTAL MEMBER INSTALLATION METAL FITTING FOR GUARD FENCE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal member installation metal fitting for a guard fence that facilitates installation of a horizontal member to a support post and offers excellent appearance.SOLUTION: A horizontal member installation metal fitting comprises a pair of horizontal member installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b fitted on a support post 2 on both sides of the support post 2. Both sides of the horizontal member installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b are formed in a semi-cylindrical form that fits an outer diameter of a horizontal member. A protrusion 5 is formed on an inner surface at a central part of the horizontal member installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b, as an engaging part for engaging with an opening 4 formed on the support post 2. A bolt hole 7 is formed on a side part on both edges of the horizontal member installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b, into which a horizontal member installation bolt is inserted. A temporary placement part 8 for the horizontal member is formed at a lower part on both edges of the horizontal member installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b. The horizontal member installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b may be connected by upper connection means 10 formed on an inner side of an upper edge part of the temporary placement part 8, and lower connection means 11 formed on an inner side of a lower edge part of the temporary placement part 8. A notch 9 is formed on a top part on both edges of the horizontal member installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b, into which an end of the horizontal member is inserted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
