INSTALLATION METAL FITTING FOR HORIZONTAL MEMBER OF GUARD FENCE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation metal fitting for a guard fence that enables a horizontal member to be fitted readily on a support post and has an excellent appearance.SOLUTION: An installation metal fitting for a guard fence comprises a pair of installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b for a horizontal member fitted on a support post 2 on both sides of the support post 2. Both sides of the installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b for a horizontal member are formed in a semi-cylindrical shape to suit an outer diameter of a horizontal member 3. A protrusion 5 is formed on an inner surface at a central part of the installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b for the horizontal member, as an engaging part to be engaged with an opening 4 formed on the support post 2. A bolt hole 7 into which an installation bolt for the horizontal member is inserted is formed at an edge part on both sides of the installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b for the horizontal member. A temporary mounting part 8 for a horizontal beam that serves as the horizontal member 3 is formed at a lower part on both edges of the installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b for the horizontal member. The pair of installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b for the horizontal member may be connected by connecting means 10 comprising an insertion part 12 and a holding part 13, the connecting means being formed on an inner side at a lower edge part of the temporary mounting part 8. A notch 9 into which an edge part of the horizontal member 3 is inserted is formed in an upper part on both edge parts of the installation metal fitting bodies 1a, 1b for the horizontal member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
