PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete reinforcement structure that reinforces an existing concrete structure while securing a surface capable of being utilized after reinforcement, and a method for reinforcing the concrete structure.SOLUTION: A concrete reinforcement structure 1 includes: a square cross-section concrete structure 12; a reinforcement member 3 that is installed around the concrete structure 12; and a thickness increasing part 2 that is placed to embed at least a part of the reinforcement member 3 in at least one surface of the concrete structure 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
