INSTALLATION METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STEEL SHEET PILE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoch-making installation method and a device for a steel sheet pile that allow a steel sheet pile to be installed simultaneously with drilling by a down-the-hole hammer.SOLUTION: Hooking means for a bottom edge of a steel sheet pile is formed on a down-the-hole hammer disposed at a lower part of an excavation shaft. Hooked means is formed at the bottom edge of the steel sheet pile, for detachably hooking the hooking means. The bottom edge of the steel sheet pile is hooked on the down-the-hole hammer that is hung, and the steel sheet pile is installed along with excavation by the down-the-hole hammer. (The steel sheet pile is installed using excavation by the down-the-hole hammer and vibration exerted on the steel sheet pile by the down-the-hole hammer.)SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
