To provide a medicine providing system capable of preventing accidental ingestion of a medicine.SOLUTION: A medicine providing system 1 comprises a medicine case 3 comprising: a case body 11 for storing medicine; and a medicine case lid opening/closing lock mechanism 15 for locking the case body 11 so that the medicine cannot be taken out. The medicine providing system 1 comprises an information terminal 5 having an authentication processing part 57 for authenticating a person who takes the medicine. The information terminal 5 comprises: a collation part 59 for collating an authentication result of the authentication processing part 57, and medicine providing information 19 which is preset to the medicine case 3; and a determination part 61 for determining whether or not to release lock according to a collation result of the collation part 59. The medicine providing system 1 has a lock release key unit 7 which releases lock of the medicine case lid opening/closing lock mechanism 15 based on a determination result of the determination part 61.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
