EXCAVATING AND AGITATING APPARATUS
To provide an excavating and agitating apparatus capable of forming a columnar improved body having a large supporting force with respect to a foundation pile around the foundation pile without being restricted by a timing at which the foundation pile is installed.SOLUTION: An excavating and agitating apparatus 10 that excavates the ground around a steel pipe pile 2 buried in the ground and mixes and agitates a cement-based solidifying material with the agitated soil to form the columnar improved body 3 around a foundation pile comprises a cylindrical casing 11 that covers a pile head of the steel pipe pile 2 and rotates around the axis of the foundation pile during excavation and agitation, excavating blades 14 and 15 extending from an outer peripheral surface of the casing 11 in the radial direction of the casing 11 and fixed to the casing 11, and supply channels 13 and 13 that are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the casing 11 and supply the cement-based solidifying material to sediment so that the cement-based solidifying material is introduced from the base end of the casing 11 and discharged from the base end of the excavating blade 14 or the vicinity thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
