To fully remove dirt from an object comprising plural object surfaces with different orientations.SOLUTION: A cleaning robot for removing dirt from an object comprises: a brush which contacts the object and removes dirt from the object; an arm to which the brush is attached; a drive part for moving the arm; and a control part which controls the drive part so that the brush contacts the object and removes dirt from the object. The drive part comprises: a first mechanism which moves the arm in a prescribed first direction; a second mechanism which moves the arm in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction; and a third mechanism which rotates the arm around an axis parallel to the second direction. The brush comprises: a first brush face which has a same shape as at least a part of a peripheral surface of a cylinder with an axis parallel to the second direction as a central axis; a second brush face which is located on a bottom surface side of the cylinder with respect to the first brush face; and a third brush face which is located on an upper surface side of the cylinder with respect to the first brush face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
