To provide a sanitary washing device which comprises a shutter capable of opening and closing a front opening of a washing nozzle and can easily wash the back of the shutter.SOLUTION: A sanitary washing device 5 is a sanitary washing device which is provided in a functional portion 4 disposed in the rear of a toilet bowl 2 and has a human body washing function. The sanitary washing device 5 comprises: a washing nozzle 51 configured to be movable forward and backward; a shutter 52 which opens and closes a front opening 432 of the washing nozzle 51; and a shutter rear surface washing unit 63 which is provided in a fixed portion 43 not movable in the functional portion 4 and washes the backside of the shutter 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
