To provide a sanitary washing device comprising a shutter which can open and close a front opening of a washing nozzle and in which a portion other than a portion where the washing nozzle is placed in a rear surface can be easily washed.SOLUTION: A sanitary washing device 5 is a sanitary washing device 5 which is provided in a functional portion 4 located at the back of a toilet bowl 2 and has a human body washing function. The sanitary washing device 5 comprises: a washing nozzle 51 configured to be movable forward and backward to a storage position and an advance position; a shutter portion 52 which opens and closes an open portion formed at the front side of the functional portion 4 at an outer position in the right and left direction X than the washing nozzle 51; and a shutter backside washing unit 64 which washes the backside of the shutter portion 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
