To provide a technique enabling an existing longitudinal member to be noninvasively held and simply drawn from installation location thereof with low noise and low vibration.SOLUTION: A chuck 20, which is detachably mounted on a longitudinal member in order to pull out an existing longitudinal member 12 from an installation location 14 thereof, noninvasively holds the longitudinal member by tightening the longitudinal member within an elasticity range thereof through a cylindrical contact layer 40 that has elasticity at least in a radial direction and has soft material at least in a surface layer in a state where the contact layer surrounds whole or a portion of outer peripheral surface of the longitudinal member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】既設の長手部材を非侵襲的に把持してその設置場所から低騒音・低振動でかつ簡易に引き抜くことを可能にする技術を提供する。【解決手段】既設の長手部材１２をその設置場所１４から引き抜くために長手部材に着脱可能に装着されるチャック２０は、少なくとも半径方向において弾性を有するとともに少なくとも表層において軟質材を有する筒状の接触層４０を介し、その接触層が長手部材の外周面を全周的にまたは部分的に包囲する状態で、その長手部材をそれの弾性域内において締め付けることによってその長手部材を非侵襲的に把持する。【選択図】図１
