Камера судоходного шлюза включает железобетонное днище 1, установленные на нем стены 2 сборной конструкции и связи 3, соединяющие стены 2 с опорами 4, установленными в грунтовом массиве, или с днищем 1. Железобетонное днище 1 распространяется вглубь обратной засыпки, за тыловую грань установленных на нем стен 2, на величину не менее 20% их высоты и не менее 20% ширины камеры шлюза, образовывая за пределами камеры консоли.
